As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in GemFire/In-Memory Data Grid, your primary role will involve architecting and constructing low-latency, high-throughput data solutions. You will collaborate with a team dedicated to enhancing distributed caching, data grid performance, and event-driven architectures essential for mission-critical applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and maintain in-memory data grid solutions utilizing GemFire - Develop and optimize data regions, function execution, and CQ (Continuous Query)-based logic - Integrate GemFire with various enterprise components such as Kafka, AMQ, databases, or microservices - Define and enforce best practices for data partitioning, replication, and WAN configuration - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize GemFire cluster performance and memory usage - Collaborate with DevOps to oversee GemFire deployments on cloud or on-prem environments - Write reusable, testable, and efficient code leveraging Java, Spring, or Spring Data for GemFire - Engage in architecture discussions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with VMware Tanzu GemFire or Apache Geode - Strong understanding of distributed systems, data consistency models, and cache eviction policies - Proficiency in Java, along with familiarity in Spring Boot and Spring Data Geode/GemFire - Experience in designing client/server topologies, locators, and regions (replicated, partitioned), etc. - Knowledge of GemFire security, WAN replication, and cluster configuration - Familiarity with CI/CD practices, logging mechanisms, and monitoring tools like Pulse, Grafana, and Prometheus,
