Gear Hobbing Setter cum Programmer

Role Overview: You are required to join immediately as a Gear Hobbing Setter cum Programmer. Your main responsibilities will include new product development in gear hobbing machines, setting and operating gear hobbing machines, CNC 2D programming, inspection using gear measuring instruments, hob maintenance, maintaining tight tolerances, ensuring gear geometry aligns with quality standards, troubleshooting and resolving machining issues, and maintaining documentation for setup sheets, programming logs, and inspection reports. Key Responsibilities: - New Product Development in Gear Hobbing machine - Setting and Operating gear hobbing machines - CNC 2D Programming - Inspection using gear measuring instruments - Hob Maintenance - Maintain tight tolerances and ensure gear geometry is in line with quality standards - Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to prevent downtime - Maintain documentation for setup sheets, programming logs, and inspection reports Qualification Required: - GD&T - Gear Hobbing CNC Programming (Preferred Hamai CNC) - Basic knowledge of gear metrology and inspection standards - Knowledge of other gear manufacturing processes - Gear Profile Inspection Skill - Trouble Shooting Skills - Experience in preventive maintenance of hobbing machines Additional Details: The compensation offered for this position ranges from 30000/- to 35000/-. The job location is SIDCO Industrial Estate Thirumazhisai. A minimum of 4-5 years of work experience is required for this role.
