GCP Networking Engineer

You will be responsible for engaging with multiple cloud and networking stakeholders to understand the requirements for a complex enterprise cloud environment. Your role will involve providing cloud and network security expertise and guidance to the cloud programs, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Cloud Application Architecture subprograms. You will collaborate with enterprise architects and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver complete security architecture solutions. Additionally, you will lead Cloud network security initiatives by designing patterns and developing/delivering scalable and secure terraform modules. You should proactively seek opportunities to automate network security configurations and implementations and monitor and optimize the patterns and modules. **Key Responsibilities:** - Engage with multiple cloud and networking stakeholders - Provide cloud and network security expertise and guidance - Collaborate with enterprise architects and SMEs - Lead Cloud network security initiatives with designs and patterns - Develop and deliver scalable and security terraform modules - Automate network security configurations and implementations - Monitor and optimize patterns and modules **Qualifications Required:** - 6+ years of overall experience in datacentre, cloud, and network - 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and GCP cloud - 3+ years of experience in Terraform - 3+ years of experience in advanced networking in public cloud - Understanding of classical or cloud-native design patterns - Knowledge of security configuration management, container security, endpoint security, and secrets management for cloud applications - Knowledge of network architecture, proxy infrastructure, and programs supporting network access - Experience with multiple Information Security domains - Good hands-on experience in automation using Terraform - Expertise in cloud networking (Load balancing, provisioning, network security, etc) - Overall experience of 7-12 years The company prefers candidates with a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Additionally, Terraform certification, Cloud Engineering or Security Certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect (professional), AWS Certified Advanced Networking Speciality, AWS Certified Security, GCP Cloud Architect, GCP Network Engineer, GCP Cloud Security Engineer, or similar certifications are preferred but not mandatory.,
