Job Description

Consultant Gastrologist is a medical specialist focusing on diagnosing and treating digestive system disorders, including the stomach, intestines, liver, and pancreas. They perform endoscopic procedures, manage chronic gastrointestinal diseases, and offer expert medical advice to improve patient digestive health. Working in hospitals or clinics, they collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate diagnosis, effective treatment plans, and preventive care for gastrointestinal-related ailments.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders with evidence-based medical practices.
Conduct endoscopic examinations and interpret gastrointestinal diagnostic reports accurately.
Design personalized treatment and dietary management plans for patients.
Collaborate with surgeons, dietitians, and other medical professionals for care.
Monitor patient progress and adjust medications or therapies when necessary.
Educate patients about digestive health, preventive measures, and lifestyle changes.
