About the Role: We are inviting an experienced Plant Operations Leader to oversee end-to-end operations across two manufacturing units in Surat. The role demands strong strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and hands-on management across production, logistics, IT systems, compliance, and human resources with a strong focus on GMP and global audit readiness. Key Responsibilities: Lead multi-unit production operations effectively, ensuring quality, safety, on-time output. Manage warehousing, logistics, distribution to support seamless supply chain flow. Ensure robust IT systems & automation frameworks are in place at the plant. Oversee HR & administration functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws and a positive work culture. Drive plant-wide regulatory compliance, including readiness for international audits (e.g., EDQM, US FDA, ANVISA, PMDA, WHO, etc.). Optimize resource planning, cost control across manpower, materials, & machinery. Lead process improvement & digitization initiatives to enhance productivity & reduce operational bottlenecks. Mentor & develop teams to strengthen leadership capabilities & foster continuous learning. Candidate Profile: 25+ years of exp in complex plant operations with exposure to production, logistics, HR, IT, administration. Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) or higher Strong track record handling international regulatory audits & client inspections across global markets (EU, US, LATAM, Asia). Must have led large cross-functional teams in a regulated manufacturing environment. Excellent problem-solving & decision-making abilities.
