Games Mathematician

Role Overview: You will be joining the Maths Team as a Games Mathematician at 1X2 Network in Hyderabad, India. Your main responsibilities will involve the production, maintenance, and data analysis of online and retail slot games. You will work on tasks such as developing original concepts, running Monte Carlo simulations, playtesting games, and collaborating with internal teams. Key Responsibilities: - Assist teams in designing, developing, and delivering new slot games. - Take on directed tasks and projects, ensuring timely communication of progress and delivery of results. - Monitor existing games developed by the company and work with colleagues to test out new game ideas. Qualifications Required: - Three or more years of experience in slot game mathematics. - A degree in mathematics or equivalent in numerate disciplines like Statistics, Engineering, or Physics. - Proficiency in Combinatorics, Probability Theory, and Quantitative Analysis. - Advanced knowledge of Java programming and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desirable Qualifications: - Ability to write and understand mathematical language, symbols, and jargon. - Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. - Proficiency in Python/Java programming and modular design patterns. - Experience in running Monte Carlo simulations and interpreting data. - Interest in and knowledge of slot games and the gaming market.
