Job Description - Gaffer (Lighting Head) - Delhi Based

We are looking for a Delhi-based Gaffer for an upcoming low-budget Indie feature film project.

This role is best suited for someone who is motivated, skilled, and looking to build strong work experience through real projects. We’re open to working with individuals who are early in their careers but have the passion and technical understanding to deliver quality work.

Candidates from film institutes such as Whistling Woods, FTII, SRFTI, AAFT, etc. will be considered favourably.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and manage all lighting equipment during shoots

- Work closely with the Director and DOP on lighting design

- Lead a small lighting team and ensure smooth on-set execution

- Work efficiently within limited resources and tight schedules

Requirements:

- Based in Delhi NCR

- Some prior experience on short films, ad shoots, or student projects

- Good understanding of lighting equipment and techniques

- Professional attitude and willingness to take ownership on set
