Job Description

As a Lead I - Software Engineering at UST, you will be part of a team that helps the world's best organizations grow and succeed through transformation. With over 30,000 employees in 25 countries, we work together to co-create lasting change and build for boundless impact. **Role Overview:** You will need to be an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and modern web technologies. Your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications in a cloud-native environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and implement backend services using Node.js and integrate with distributed systems. - Develop responsive front-end applications using React/Angular. - Design and optimize data models and queries in PostgreSQL. - Implement messaging and streaming solutions using Kafka. - Utilize Redis for caching and performance improvements. - Deploy and manage applications on Azure Cloud, leveraging DevOps practices for CI/CD. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and performance. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack development. - Strong proficiency in Node.js, React or Angular. - Hands-on experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Redis. - Good understanding of Azure Cloud services and DevOps pipelines. - Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. **Nice To Have:** - Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). - Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
