Full Stack Software Engineer - Geospatial Platform

Here's a breakdown of your responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable web applications and services for geospatial data processing, visualization, and analysis using Vue.js for the front-end and Java (with Springboot) and Python for the back-end. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional, multinational teams to deliver high-quality geospatial software solutions. - Develop user-facing mapping interfaces and integrate geospatial tools with server-side logic to ensure seamless performance. - Build reusable components and front-end libraries for geospatial applications using Vue.js. - Develop efficient and reliable code in Java and Python for geospatial algorithms, data processing pipelines, and API development. - Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness when handling large geospatial datasets. - Implement robust security and data protection measures for location data sensitivity. - Design, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for hosting and scaling geospatial applications and services. - Work with various geospatial data formats and database systems. - Participate actively in code reviews, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing geospatial software. - Stay updated with emerging technologies in GIS, LBS, AWS services, and industry best practices to drive innovation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering. - 1 to 5 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in Java, Springboot, Python, Vue.js, and AWS cloud services. - Experience with front-end frameworks like Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, OGC standards, database technologies like PostgreSQL with PostGIS extension, and code versioning tools like Git. - Knowledge of GIS tools and libraries, map projections, coordinate systems, and spatial analysis techniques.
