Full stack Python Developer - Fintech (Individual Contributor)

As a Full Stack Python Developer in the fintech industry, you will be an individual contributor responsible for developing an intelligent financial modeling platform. This platform will encompass backend, frontend, and middleware development, allowing you to take ownership and showcase your skills in a startup environment. Your key responsibilities will include developing scalable Python-based backend systems, building interactive frontend applications using React.js or Next.js, creating and maintaining middleware services and APIs for seamless integration, integrating financial datasets and compliance-driven logic, applying AI/ML techniques to enhance analytics and forecasting, translating complex business logic into modular and testable components, owning the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment, and collaborating cross-functionally with product and strategy teams. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 3 years of experience in Python 3.x, including proficiency in libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy. Additionally, you should have proven experience in frontend development using React.js or Next.js, backend development with FastAPI, Flask, or Django, a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, middleware integration, and microservices, and exposure to AI/ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools is preferred, along with a startup mindset characterized by self-drive, agility, and outcome-orientation.
