As a Java Team Leader in the MIS Applications team, you will have the opportunity to lead a new development team from scratch while actively participating in designing and coding advanced solutions. Your role will involve working with technologies like Java Spring, React, Microservices, and AI-powered features via Azure OpenAI. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead a team of Java and full-stack developers to ensure timely and high-quality project deliveries. - Take ownership of developing and maintaining the company's core MIS web applications. - Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. - Design and implement AI-based capabilities like chatbots and automation workflows using Azure OpenAI. - Drive architectural decisions, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices throughout the development lifecycle. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the team. **Qualifications Required:** - 11+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java, including 2+ years in a leadership role, preferably in global or multinational companies. - Expertise in Java Spring Framework, specifically Spring Boot. - Proven experience in designing and maintaining microservices architectures and enterprise-scale applications. - Strong familiarity with web development frameworks such as React, TypeScript, and modern frontend ecosystems. - Interest or experience in AI-based solutions, particularly using Azure AI/OpenAI APIs, is advantageous. - Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. - Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.
