Description

We are seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer Intern to join our development team and contribute to building our AI companion platform. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of the MERN stack and a passion for learning modern web development technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in full-stack development while working on cutting-edge AI technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
• Build responsive user interfaces with React.js and modern CSS frameworks
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
• Work with MongoDB for database design and management
• Collaborate with our development team on feature implementation
• Participate in code reviews and learn industry best practices
• Contribute to documentation and testing processes
• Assist with debugging and performance optimization

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Basic understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
• Familiarity with React.js concepts (components, state, props)
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team

Preferred:

• Experience with Node.js and Express.js
• Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Understanding of RESTful API concepts
• Familiarity with modern development tools (VS Code, npm, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase, etc.)
• Experience with any frontend framework/library
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
