Fuel Biller

You will be responsible for maintaining control over assigned fuel carriers and ensuring accurate billing for all deliveries to Wholesale and Consignment locations. As a Fuel Biller at ARKO, you will play a crucial role in meeting monthly deadlines and collaborating with the Inventory Accountant to ensure timely closure of Consignment tanks by the assigned month-end close date. You will work closely with the Fuel Billing Manager to address any issues that may arise and ensure smooth operations. Your primary tasks will include obtaining Bill of Lading (BOL) and related Delivery Ticket paperwork for your assigned carriers, billing all sites associated with these carriers, and ensuring that all deliveries are accurately billed based on the daily Unbilled spreadsheet provided by the manager. Additionally, you will be responsible for researching tank loss issues for the Inventory Accountant, handling CRM cases related to your assigned carriers, and working with Fuel Supply to ensure correct products are being pulled by the carriers. As a valuable member of the team, you will utilize various tools, including Axxis and dealer price letters, to bill each delivery accurately. You will collaborate with Fuel AP to ensure precise billing for all deliveries and assist in meeting monthly deadlines for closing EFTs. Furthermore, you will support the manager in unbilled reconciliations and other tasks as assigned, as well as provide coverage for carriers when other team members are on leave. To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of Excel, possess excellent communication skills both orally and in writing, and demonstrate a keen attention to detail in your work. Your ability to work independently with minimal supervision, coupled with strong organizational skills, will be essential for success in this position. Moreover, you should be proactive in researching and resolving issues related to your assigned carriers, showcasing your dedication to ensuring accurate and efficient fuel billing processes.,
