As a Data Migration Specialist with expertise in Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL), you will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating complex data migrations from legacy systems to Salesforce. Your role will involve tasks such as data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and loading to ensure accuracy, performance, and compliance throughout the migration process. To excel in this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience in Salesforce data migration, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to Field Service Lightning projects. A strong understanding of the FSL data model and the relationships between various entities such as Work Orders, Service Appointments, Technicians, Territories, and Scheduling rules is essential for this role. Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, MuleSoft, Talend, or Client Boomi is required to effectively manage the data migration process. Proficiency in SOQL, SOSL, SQL, and advanced Excel for data analysis is crucial for successful data handling and transformation. You should also have experience in handling large data volumes (LDV) within Salesforce and be familiar with performance tuning techniques specifically tailored for migrations. Knowledge of Salesforce APIs (SOAP, REST, Bulk API) and data load best practices will be advantageous for this role. Additionally, familiarity with data masking and anonymization techniques for sandbox refreshes is preferred. Holding a Salesforce Administrator or FSL Consultant certification will be considered a plus. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and meticulous documentation practices are key attributes that will contribute to your success in this position.,
