Frontend Developer

About the role

GA Digital Web Word Pvt Ltd is hiring 3 Frontend Developers for the UIDAI Sandbox platform at the UIDAI Technology Centre, Bengaluru (Band C, TSU | Position codes UIDAI_BTC_0_777, UIDAI_BTC_0_778 & UIDAI_BTC_0_779).

You will design, develop and maintain the user-facing components of the Sandbox platform - building responsive, intuitive and accessible interfaces that support complex digital identity workflows such as Aadhaar authentication, eKYC and verifiable credential management. The role works closely with backend engineers and UI/UX designers to deliver a seamless end-user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Implement UI designs as per wireframes and prototypes.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with backend developers on API integration.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging.

Educational qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Certifications in frontend technologies and frameworks are an added advantage.

Experience required

• 5+ years in frontend development, including experience with large-scale web applications.
• Experience in digital identity or secure authentication interface implementation is preferred.

Primary skills (must have)

• React JS and React Native
• Angular
• HTML5 and CSS3
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Progressive Web App (PWA) development
• State management libraries - Redux, MobX

Secondary skills (good to have)

• UI/UX design principles and wireframe-to-code implementation
• Testing frameworks - Jest, Cypress
• REST API integration and Git-based workflows
• Web accessibility and cross-browser optimisation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Compensation

• CTC range: Rs. 8.00 - 17.70 LPA (Band C, TSU), offered within the band based on experience and interview assessment.
• Statutory and policy benefits as per UIDAI HR policy (PF, gratuity, group mediclaim, leave and TA/DA entitlements).

Location: Technology Centre, Bengaluru (on-site). Number of positions: 3.
