Frontend Developer Angular - Japanese Bilingual

As a Software Engineer I - Front End, your primary responsibility is to develop high-quality software solutions as a contributing member of a highly motivated team of Engineers. You will serve the Software Engineering role on an Agile team, utilizing different web technologies such as HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular, ReactJS, and other web server technologies. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing high-quality software that meets requirements, promotes the re-use of software components, and facilitates ease of support. - Diagnosing, isolating, and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code. - Identifying and implementing process improvements in Engineering practices. - Utilizing software-based system maintenance and tracking tools. - Providing input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials, and customer training. - Conducting unit tests, tracking problems, and implementing changes to ensure adherence to the test plan and functional/nonfunctional requirements. - Implementing software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance, and reusability. Participating and leading code review sessions. - Creating high fidelity estimates of your own work efforts. - Applying good debugging and troubleshoot techniques to understand and resolve defects found in software. - Creating high-quality documentation as required, such as functional specifications, component test specifications, and integration test specifications. - Developing and improving test-driven development while producing software. - Learning and applying test methodology, processes, procedures, standards, and tools used by the team as and when required. - Practicing Agile development principles with Scrum. - Using and trying to improve Agile tools being used in the development. Additionally, the basic qualifications for this role include: - 2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. - Strong Web development skills using HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular, ReactJS, and other web server technologies. - Strong understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices. - Strong troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills. - Ability to understand business and technical requirements. - Ability to document the requirements in the form of Word documents and/or UML diagrams. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) is preferred, as you will be communicating with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and candidates effectively. Preferred qualifications for this role include: - Experience with POS and Self-Checkout Integrations. - Experience with Cloud development. - Experience working on one of the cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google) would be an added advantage.,
