Front End Developer

The Business Unit Offshore is a special unit compared to other BU’s in msg global because we are domain and technology agnostic, catering to all industry and technology areas. The Offshore Unit is looking for colleagues who want to successfully shape our clients' future in the digital age. We provide consulting, development, and application maintenance services for the EMEA and NA regions in technologies like the Java ecosystem, C++, Mobility solution, SAP Core, Testing Services, and Agile & DevOps for various industries. Our international team of experts is shaping the future of IT services.

What you will do

You will contribute to the modernization of a banking application by building its replacement using a modern technology stack. You will contribute from requirements and implementation through testing and deployment.

What we are looking for

Must have

• Strong frontend development experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Hands-on experience building modern applications using Vite and npm.

• Experience developing reusable UI components using Material UI.

• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive UI development.

• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.

• Good working knowledge of Git and GitLab/GitHub-based development.

• Experience with frontend automated and end-to-end testing.

• Strong frontend debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Able to refine, estimate, implement and test frontend user stories independently.

• Strong focus on clean, reusable and maintainable frontend code.

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright or CodeceptJS for end-to-end testing.

• Knowledge of WebSocket/STOMP for real-time communication.

• Exposure to CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes environments.

• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger-based API integration.

• Experience with Keycloak, OIDC or JWT authentication.

• Basic understanding of Java/Spring Boot and microservices.

• Exposure to SonarQube and application observability tools.

• Banking domain knowledge would be an advantage.
