Role Summary
The Counter Sales Representative is responsible for assisting walk-in customers at the showroom, understanding their requirements, demonstrating products, closing sales, explaining EMI and finance options, managing sales documentation, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction while achieving monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to walk-in customers and recommend suitable products based on their needs.
- Demonstrate products and explain features, benefits, warranty, and after-sales service.
- Handle customer queries, resolve objections, and convert enquiries into sales.
- Process billing, payments, EMI and finance documentation, and extended warranty sales.
- Maintain showroom displays, product merchandising, pricing, and stock hygiene.
- Update IFB and competitor planograms and monitor competitor sales activities.
- Achieve individual and showroom sales targets and promote cross-selling and add-on sales.
- Capture customer details and coordinate product installations and complaint resolution.
- Record daily sales in the CSR App and participate in sales review meetings.
- Follow shift schedules, attendance policies, and showroom discipline.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Graduate or above; final-year graduation candidates may be considered as exceptions.
- Experience: 0–4+ years in retail sales, preferably in consumer durables, electronics, or home appliances.
- Freshers with excellent communication and customer-handling skills may also apply.
- Age: 19–30 years.
- Gender: Male / Female.
- Languages: Fluency in the local language, Hindi, and English.

Compensation and Incentives
- Fixed CTC based on experience and location.
- Fixed monthly variable pay of up to ₹4,000, subject to applicable conditions.
- Annual fixed variable component of up to ₹48,000.
- Monthly performance incentives starting from ₹11,000 onwards, subject to applicable performance and scheme conditions.
Actual compensation may vary by city, experience, and performance.
