About Us: Franois Compressors India Pvt. Ltd. is the wholly owned subsidiary of AF Compressors Group, headquartered in Belgium, offering compressed air solutions in the food and beverage industry. We are an international team of 80 employees located in Pirangut, Pune. Role & Responsibility : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Casting Engineer to join our Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in casting development, supplier management and project execution. This role requires extensive travel across India to identify, evaluate and develop new foundry partners. The role major responsibilities are: Identify, evaluate, onboard and develop new cylinder casting foundries across India. Negotiate pricing using Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) principles. Raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery from foundries. Address quality issues through corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans. Conduct periodic supplier evaluations focused on quality and delivery improvements. Desired Candidate: Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering from a reputed institution. Minimum 4 years experience in casting development. Minimum 2 years of purchase experience. Strong knowledge of casting operations and validation processes. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and ERP systems. Strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills.
