Founding AI Engineer

As a founding engineer at Knowl, you will be tasked with tackling some of the most challenging projects, including vertical LLMs, low-latency voice infrastructure, and distributed intelligence systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Building and optimizing in-house models, training pipelines, and inference systems for scale and low latency in the LLM Infrastructure. - Pushing the boundaries of real-time speech infrastructure with low-latency audio streaming and advanced detection techniques in the Voice Systems. - Architecting data replication pipelines, scheduling, and logging systems to handle millions of conversations daily in the Distributed Intelligence domain. - Every line of code you write will play a crucial role in powering millions of AI-driven conversations and making a direct impact on major financial institutions in India. To be successful in this role, you are required to meet the following qualifications: - Must have solved challenging real-world problems at prestigious institutions like IITs/NITs/BITS or at renowned companies such as Google, Nvidia, DeepMind, etc. - Should possess a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals. - Must demonstrate strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language. - Should have experience in development using the services of at least one cloud platform. - Must have an understanding of the basics of distributed systems. In addition, the following qualifications would be considered a bonus: - Experience in writing low-latency applications. - Previous work at the intersection of distributed systems, ML, and product development. - Proficiency in multi-threading and asynchronous programming. - Experience in architecting large-scale distributed systems. - Contribution at any stage in the lifecycle of LLMs, including data creation and optimizing training techniques.
