Formulation Scientist - Cosmetics

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Development:Conducting in-depth research on ingredients, exploring new technologies, and identifying emerging trends to support product development.
• Formulation Design:Developing and refining cosmetic formulations for various product categories, such as skincare, haircare, and makeup.
• Product Testing:Performing stability, compatibility, and efficacy testing to ensure product safety and performance.
• Ingredient Sourcing:Evaluating raw materials for suitability, quality, and potential impact on formulation.
• Regulatory Compliance:Ensuring that all products meet relevant cosmetic regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, EU, ISO).
• Collaboration:Working closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, production, quality assurance) to align product development with market needs and company goals.
• Documentation:Maintaining detailed records of formulations, test results, and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Troubleshooting:Addressing technical issues related to product development, manufacturing, and quality control.
