Forklift Operator

Description

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move and manage materials within our facility. The Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and will be expected to adhere to safety standards at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and stack products.
• Perform routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking and reporting stock levels and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role.
• Valid forklift operator certification or license as per local regulations.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and guidelines related to forklift operation.
• Ability to operate various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, etc.).
• Good physical condition and strength to handle heavy loads and operate machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
