As a ForgeRock/IAM professional in Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane, you will utilize your technical skills in ForgeRock Access Management, ForgeRock Identity Management, ForgeRock Directory Services, ForgeRock Identity Gateway, Core Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, XML, HTML, and Bash. Your key responsibilities will include understanding business requirements, defining functional/technical specifications of IAM solutions, and documenting operational procedures, policies, and instructions. You will be tasked with implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML federation protocols, defining authentication (AuthN) and authorization (AuthZ) policies for user authentication journey, and managing user lifecycle through identity solutions. Additionally, you will work on IAM system upgrades, issue fixes, code reviews, and documentation in Confluence. Collaboration is essential as you will engage daily with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to comprehend business needs, review code and release changes, troubleshoot and resolve defects in the Production system, and identify gaps in functionality to provide innovative solutions. You will also focus on IAM backup, restoration mechanisms, performance improvements, code deployment, and script development to meet specific business requirements. Furthermore, you will be responsible for protecting APIs with well-defined IAM AuthN and AuthZ policies, integrating applications with IAM solutions, upgrading IAM tools with the latest security patches, setting up mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS) for banking applications, and working with Load Testing teams to optimize IAM solution load handling. Your involvement in the release process, successful delivery of code changes, and support during releases will be crucial. Additionally, you will analyze and address any penetration testing issues identified by third parties.
