Job Title Food Science Lab Assistant Location Coimbatore, Tamilnadu Required Number 1 Qualification B.Sc /M.Sc Food Science and Nutrition Job Description Coordinate and assist in the smooth conduct of Food Science Laboratory courses for undergraduate, postgraduate programm and PhD scholars. Prepare purchase lists for lab chemicals, consumables, and food ingredients based on course requirements and research needs. Support procurement processes by maintaining records of materials required and ensuring timely purchase and stock maintenance. Assist in the preparation and updating of lab modules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment functionality, and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene protocols. Assist faculty and students during practical sessions and research projects with necessary preparations and supervision. Manage inventory, ensure proper storage of chemicals and ingredients, and maintain issue/consumption logs. Experience High priority is given to candidates with 2-4 more years of experience.
