Float teacher in Primary Years Programme

Aarth Universal School is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Float Teacher to join our PYP team. The Float Teacher will provide instructional support across multiple grade levels, stepping in to lead classes, facilitate learning engagements, and assist in implementing the IB PYP curriculum when regular teachers are unavailable or require additional support.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons in alignment with the IB PYP framework.
• Step into various classrooms as needed to ensure continuity of learning.
• Support homeroom and specialist teachers in instructional activities, classroom management, and student engagement.
• Collaborate with teaching teams to prepare and deliver quality learning experiences.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Provide feedback on student progress to relevant teachers and coordinators.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (or relevant field); IB PYP experience preferred.
• Strong adaptability, flexibility, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse teaching team.
• Commitment to the IB philosophy and lifelong learning.
