Designation : Lead Hub Operations Location : Mumbai (Thane Kalyan Ulhasnagar Vashi) Reporting : Regional Manager & Area Manager Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of a Lead Hub Operations (g7) are multifaceted and demand a blend of operational acumen, leadership, and analytical skills. Core duties typically include: Operational Excellence: Overseeing all hub operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). This includes managing inbound and outbound processes, sorting, and inventory management within the hub. Team Leadership and Management: Leading and motivating a team of hub executives, associates, and other staff. This involves performance management, training and development, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Performance Monitoring and Analytics: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and error rates. The role requires a data-driven approach to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Cost Management and Optimization: Managing the hub's budget, controlling operational costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality and speed. Vendor and Partner Management: Collaborating with third-party logistics partners and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and alignment of operations. Problem-Solving and Escalation Management: Proactively identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks and handling escalations from customers or internal teams in a timely and effective manner. Process Improvement and Innovation: Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and implement new technologies and best practices within the hub. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the hub premises.
Role & responsibilities Ensure Hub opening & closing is done as per operational standards and requirements. Supervise the Sorters who receive the shipments. Planning as per available resources and allocating shipment for bike and van deliveries. Ensure all team members are trained and are aware of operational standards. Create the Runsheet/Pickup sheet and assign daily work to WMs. Prepare Reports; Check and revert on mails. Prepare and share Day End reports & Collection of cash, accounting and reconciliation with ERP. Participate in delivering the shipment/pickup as per operational requirement to the customer when required. Take ownership of the team assigned to him in terms of motivation, control attrition, handle grievance, grooming, zero customer escalations, training, coaching as per OKR. Adhering & supporting the organization into seamless adoption of new policies & process. Track undelivered shipment in ERP and call customer to identify reasons for non-delivery. Track wish masters performance at a real time basis to ensure all deliveries are completed as per plan. Provide support to the Wish Masters en route and take necessary actions. Ensure unexplained Zero stock variance at the hubs on a daily basis. Achievement of Key Performance Indicators of TL as per company's goal.
