Job Title: Tyre Service Engineer Department : Operations Location: Surat, Gujrat Reports To: Assistant Operations Manager / Operations Manager Job Summary: The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site support for tyre inspection, maintenance, and service operations. The role involves working closely with fleet operators, ensuring the smooth functioning of Fleeca’s tyre management solutions, and delivering excellent customer service. The Service Engineer should have technical expertise in tyre servicing and a strong problem-solving attitude. Key Responsibilities: 1. Tyre Inspection & Maintenance: ü Conduct routine tyre inspections using Fleeca’s tools and technology. ü Check tyre pressure, tread depth, and wear patterns to ensure compliance with safety standards. ü Identify and report issues such as uneven wear, damage, or improper alignment. ü Perform tyre rotation, inflation, and minor repairs as required. 2. TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) Operations: ü Install and configure TPMS sensors on fleet vehicles. ü Monitor and analyze TPMS data to prevent tyre failures. ü Educate fleet operators and drivers on the benefits of TPMS. 3. Customer Support & Training: ü Interact with clients (fleet managers, transport heads, and drivers) to address tyre-related concerns. ü Provide on-site training on proper tyre maintenance and safety practices. ü Act as a technical consultant to help clients improve tyre performance and fuel efficiency. 4. Service Reporting & Documentation: ü Maintain detailed service logs and inspection reports. ü Document all tyre-related issues, recommendations, and actions taken. ü Ensure accurate data entry in Fleeca’s service management system. 5. Compliance & Safety: ü Follow company and industry standards for tyre servicing and safety. ü Ensure all servicing tools and equipment are used properly and safely. ü Adhere to client-specific protocols for working on their premises. 6. Coordination with Internal Teams: ü Work closely with the Operations and Backend Team to ensure seamless service execution. ü Provide real-time updates on service status and challenges. ü Support field sales and technical teams in promoting Fleeca’s tyre solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: • Diploma/B.Tech/ITI in Mechanical, Automobile, or a related field. • ITI candidates with relevant tyre industry experience can also apply. Experience: • 1 to 3 years of experience in tyre servicing, fleet maintenance, or automotive field service. • Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong technical aptitude can be considered. Technical Skills: • Knowledge of tyre types, tread patterns, and pressure monitoring. • Experience in TPMS installation and troubleshooting (preferred). • Basic understanding of fleet maintenance and vehicle dynamics. • Ability to use diagnostic tools and tyre inspection equipment. Soft Skills: • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Customer handling and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and in team-based field environments. • Good time management and organizational skills. Other Requirements: • Must be comfortable working in challenging outdoor conditions. • A valid driving license (preferred but not mandatory).
