Fire Systems Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Fire Systems Engineer - Mechanical / Electrical at Jensen Hughes, you will play a crucial role in the design, construction, and testing/commissioning phases of modern active fire protection systems. Based in Mumbai, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects in India and overseas, working in a fast-paced environment within a supportive and diverse team. Key Responsibilities: - Design fire suppression systems such as firewater pumps, sprinkler systems, clean agent systems, and more. - Prepare detailed drawings, conduct calculations using specialized software, develop schematic diagrams, prepare technical reports, and supervise designers to ensure the quality of each fire protection system. Qualifications Required: - Accredited bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or a related engineering field. - 10-15 years of experience in design and layout of mechanical or specialty engineering systems. - In-depth understanding of building codes, fire codes, and national standards such as NFPA. - Proficiency in AutoCAD. - Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
