Financial Analyst, Private Equity

You will be a part of our dynamic Financial Services team who monitor data for the Fund of Funds wherein you will collect, investigate, and rigorously analyze thousands of alternative asset funds.

A typical day of an Invient financial services professional involves analyzing various confidential information sources about alternative asset funds, mainly in private equity, drilling deeper into their assets, and constructing an exhaustive database that drives our clients' crucial investment decisions. Those who love and obsess over detailed analysis of numbers and strive for a deeper understanding of intricate qualitative and quantitative data do exceedingly well as our colleagues in the financial services group. The growth path includes guiding teams of other analysts, managing clients, and emerging as world-class domain experts in alternative asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze more nuanced, complex, and occasionally ambiguous data requiring higher degrees of insight
• Review your colleagues analysis output for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
• Provide technical guidance and clarifications to fellow analysts on specific tasks
• Monitor and coordinate a small set of analysis functions with other analysts

Skills & Qualifications

• Bcom, Mcom, with strong basics in finance, accounting or a related field
• 0 to 10 years of detailed financial analysis work in a professional environment, preferably in alternative assets
• Experience in creating and analyzing complex financial spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in verbal and written business communications in English
• Demonstrated ability and aptitude for learning new finance concepts quickly

Office timings - Monday - Friday - 8.30 am - 6pm
