Field Service Officer - Contractor

As a Tax Senior in the Tax Technology team, your role will involve developing, implementing, and integrating technology solutions to better serve clients and engagement teams. You will have the opportunity to enhance value-add, improve efficiencies, and enable clients with disruptive tools supporting Tax. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding database, data analytics, and programming skills. - Work on development related to Tax Center/Reporting IRC 6045 and support for Crypto reporting and regulations/CARF. - Build/modify services using Golang to meet critical product and business needs. - Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap. - Write high-quality, well-tested code and debug technical problems to improve systems" security, stability, and scalability. - Review all feature designs within your product area and take ownership of backend systems" operational integrity. Qualifications Required: - Passionate about high-quality code and effective software engineering processes. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Golang, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB. - Previous experience at a fast-paced, high-growth stage internet/software company.
