Field Sales Executive

Position: Field Sales Executive – Ice Cream Division

Location : Wakad, Pune ( Pimpri Chinchwad)

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Field Sales Executive shall be responsible for expanding the company's ice cream retail network, identifying and onboarding new retail outlets, installing company-provided deep freezers at approved retail locations, generating ice cream sales, ensuring timely delivery of customer orders and maintaining strong relationships with retailers.

The employee shall act as the primary point of contact between the company and its retail outlets and shall ensure effective execution of sales, distribution and freezer management activities within the assigned territory.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

A. New Retailer Development & Freezer Installation

• Approach potential retail outlets, grocery stores, supermarkets, ice cream parlours and other suitable locations.
• Generate new business by onboarding retailers and expanding the company's market presence.
• Coordinate and arrange installation of company-owned deep freezers at approved retail outlets.
• Complete necessary documentation, retailer agreements and freezer handover formalities.
• Maintain an updated record of all installed freezers, including retailer details, installation dates and freezer identification numbers.
• Conduct regular visits to ensure proper utilisation and safe custody of company freezers.

B. Ice Cream Sales & Business Development

• Promote and sell the company's ice cream products at assigned retail outlets.
• Ensure regular order generation from existing retailers.
• Achieve assigned daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Introduce new products, flavours and promotional schemes to retailers.
• Ensure proper product visibility, display and stock availability at retail outlets.
• Develop strong business relationships with retailers and encourage repeat orders.
• Identify opportunities for increasing sales and expanding the retailer network.

C. Order Collection & Timely Delivery

• Collect orders from retail outlets through physical visits, telephone calls or other approved communication channels.
• Coordinate with the company's dispatch and distribution team for order processing.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of ice cream orders to respective retail outlets.
• Maintain proper product handling and cold-chain requirements during transportation.
• Verify quantities and product details at the time of delivery.
• Obtain retailer acknowledgement for delivered goods.
• Report delivery delays, shortages, damaged products or customer complaints immediately.
• Ensure proper coordination between sales, dispatch and retail customers.

D. Retailer Relationship & Market Coverage

• Conduct regular visits to all assigned retail outlets.
• Maintain good relations with existing retailers and resolve their routine concerns.
• Ensure timely communication of new schemes, offers and product launches.
• Collect market feedback and share it with the reporting manager.
• Identify inactive retailers and take necessary steps to reactivate them.
• Ensure adequate stock availability and prevent stock-outs at important outlets.

E. Reporting & Documentation

• Submit daily sales and collection reports.
• Maintain records of retailer-wise sales, orders, deliveries and outstanding payments.
• Maintain records of new retailer additions and freezer installations.
• Submit daily visit reports and market development updates.
• Report damaged, non-functional or idle freezers.
• Follow company policies, reporting procedures and instructions issued by management.

3. Mandatory Eligibility & Requirements

• Language: Ability to read and understand both Marathi and English is mandatory.
• Driving: Must know how to drive a two-wheeler.
• Driving Licence: Valid two-wheeler driving licence is mandatory.
• Education: Minimum 10th / 12th pass preferred.
• Experience: Experience in FMCG sales, ice cream distribution, retail sales or field marketing will be preferred. Freshers with good communication and sales skills may also apply.
• Skills: Good communication, retailer handling, sales negotiation and basic reporting skills.
• Mobility: Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Personal Attributes: Honest, disciplined, target-oriented, punctual and customer-focused.

कंपनी आणि रिटेल दुकानदार यांच्यामधील महत्त्वाचा संपर्क अधिकारी म्हणून काम करणे आणि दिलेल्या क्षेत्रात विक्री व वितरणाचे उद्दिष्ट पूर्ण करणे ही या पदाची प्रमुख जबाबदारी असेल.
