Social Media Manager – Beauty Industry (Content Creation Focus) Job Summary: We are seeking a creative, trend-savvy Social Media Manager to lead our brand’s digital presence in the beauty space. This role requires a blend of strategy, content creation, and community building . The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, understands consumer behavior (especially Gen Z and Millennials), and can create engaging content that drives brand awareness, loyalty, and sales. Key Responsibilities: Content Strategy & Planning Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with brand objectives. Create monthly/weekly content calendars for Instagram, Linked in, YouTube, and other platforms. Research beauty trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms to stay ahead. Content Creation Conceptualize and produce beauty-focused content including product shots, tutorials, reels, stories, campaigns, memes, and influencer collaborations. Ensure high-quality visual storytelling in line with brand aesthetics. Write engaging, on-brand captions, hashtags, and CTAs. Community Management Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build an active beauty community. Monitor brand sentiment and consumer feedback across platforms. Collaborate with influencers, MUAs, and content creators to amplify reach. Campaigns & Collaborations Work with marketing team to launch new product campaigns and seasonal promotions. Identify, negotiate, and manage influencer partnerships. Coordinate with design, PR, and e-commerce teams for cohesive campaigns. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree . Proven experience (1-3 years) in social media management within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industry . Strong understanding of Instagram, Linked in , YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging beauty platforms . Hands-on content creation skills: photography, video editing (Reels), Canva/Adobe Suite. Excellent copywriting skills tailored to beauty consumers. Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.). Passionate about beauty trends, skincare, makeup, and consumer culture. Key Attributes: Creative storyteller with a strong eye for aesthetics. Trend-spotter, always updated on viral beauty content. Organized multitasker with campaign management skills. Confident communicator and collaborator. Results-oriented, with focus on engagement and conversions.
