About the Organisation:
The Madhuram Narayanan Centre for Exceptional Children (MNC) has been dedicated for over three decades to providing high-quality Early Intervention services for children aged 0 to 6 years with Intellectual Disability (ID), Developmental Delays (DD), and associated conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down’s Syndrome (DS), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Hydrocephaly, Microcephaly, Metabolic Disorders, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

MNC also houses the AVMVK Academy, which offers a 10-month RCI-accredited Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education (DECSE-ID) and conducts professional training programmes for special educators, fostering inclusive classrooms for every child.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Faculty member for our Special Education programme.

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, or Sciences.
• One of the following qualifications with the specified experience:
• DECSE (MR/ID) with 5 years’ experience, OR
• D.E.C.S.E. (ID), OR
• D.Ed. SE (MR/ID) with 5 years’ experience, OR
• B.Ed. SE (MR/ID) with 2 years’ experience, OR
• M.Ed. SE (MR/ID)
• Valid CRR number.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver theory classes for the DECSE (ID) diploma course and guide students in practical training.
• Conduct online theory sessions and support project workshops for the IGNOU Certificate Programme.
• Participate in planning and executing Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) programmes organised by the Academy.
• Contribute to various activities of MNC as required.
