Responsibilities Research and pitch timely and relevant story ideas related to politics, society, culture, or current events. Create short-form video content (Reels, YouTube Shorts) with clear narration, presence, and delivery. Present and report on-camera, or via voice-over, for our digital news segments. Collaborate with editors, content strategists, and graphic designers to produce publish-ready content. Ensure all content is fact-checked, unbiased, and follows journalistic ethics. Adapt and revise scripts or segments based on editorial feedback. Monitor news trends and audience engagement to guide content planning. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies , or a related field. Strong interest in news, current affairs, and social impact storytelling. Confident verbal communication and on-camera presence (or willingness to develop it). Excellent command of spoken and written English. Basic understanding of digital media platforms and audience behavior (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote setup.
