Job Title: Head Marketing & Brand Strategy Location: Hyderabad Reports To: Director Role Purpose To architect and lead the marketing, branding, and communication strategy that positions Excellencia Junior Colleges CBSE & International Schools as a pioneering hub of innovation, global learning, and Indian wisdom driving trust, admissions, and long-term reputation. Key Responsibilities 1. Brand Leadership : Define and evolve the brand identity in alignment with the schools philosophy: innovation, wisdom, and global relevance. Create compelling storytelling around student success, faculty excellence, and institutional vision. Ensure consistent application of the brand identity across all touchpoints, including signage, brochures, digital platforms, and events. 2. Strategy & Planning : Design the annual marketing calendar, integrating both offline and online campaigns. Align marketing efforts with the academic calendar admissions, Olympiads, exam results, key events, and new program launches. Research market trends, competitor strategies, and parent/student expectations to inform decision-making. 3. Digital & Performance Marketing : Oversee digital presence, including the website, SEO, SEM, Facebook/Instagram ads (Meta Ads), YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp campaigns, and other key digital marketing platforms. Optimize paid campaigns for lead generation and brand engagement. Monitor analytics dashboards to track ROI, CPL (Cost Per Lead), and conversion ratios. 4. Admissions & Growth Marketing : Develop lead nurturing systems from inquiry counselling conversion. Build CRM automation for personalized parent communication. Partner with the academic and counsellor teams to align brand voice with parent engagement. 5. Events, PR & Community Building : Plan and execute high-impact events, such as open houses, webinars, and educational conferences, while managing press coverage, alumni engagement, and strategic partnerships with innovation labs, universities, and global education bodies. Build PR relationships with education journalists, bloggers, and award organizers. Manage photo/video shoots and press releases that reflect authentic brand values. 6.Leadership & Team Development : Build and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional marketing team, including digital, design, content, and admissions, fostering a collaborative and data-driven work culture. Partner with academic heads to create integrated campaigns celebrating learning excellence. Foster a data-driven, creative, and collaborative culture within the team. Preferred candidate Profile MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Communications, or related field. 8 - 15 years of experience (preferably in education, edtech, or consumer brand sectors), with a strong track record of leadership in marketing and brand strategy. Proven expertise in digital marketing, storytelling, and brand building. Excellent communication, analytical, and team leadership skills. Passion for education, creativity, and youth engagement.
