EV DC fast Charger Integration Engineer

As an EV DC Fast Charger Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating, testing, and troubleshooting DC fast charging systems with electric vehicles and backend software platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in integrating EV DC fast chargers with electric vehicles and cloud management systems. - Learning and working with industry-standard communication protocols such as CCS, OCPP, Modbus, CAN, IEC 61851, and ISO 15118. - Supporting system validation and basic interoperability testing with different EV models. - Troubleshooting charger and vehicle communication issues under the guidance of senior engineers and performing hardware and software integration. - Participating in lab and field testing activities, providing remote/on-site support, analyzing logs, waveforms, and protocol traces for root cause analysis. - Preparing test logs, reports, and technical documentation. - Assisting in certification processes with test labs (UL, CE, IEC, BIS, ARAI, etc.). - Performing conformance and interoperability testing with multiple EV OEMs. - Collaborating with software, hardware, and operations teams to understand end-to-end charging system workflows. - Writing application layer software based on customers' requirements and product customization. - Utilizing AutoCAD Electrical to create schematics and wiring drawings. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline, or Master's in Science with relevant course content. - Fundamental understanding of power electronics, IoT, embedded systems (Arduino/Arduino IDE), and networking concepts. - Familiarity with programming languages (C, Python, JavaScript, and React JS), and cybersecurity knowledge is a plus. - Interest in electric vehicles, renewable energy, and smart grid technologies. - Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
