Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented ETL Testing Engineer with strong experience in Data Warehouse (DWH), ETL processes, and database testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across source and target systems.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements, data models, source-to-target mappings, and ETL specifications.
Design and develop ETL test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
Execute database testing using SQL queries.
Identify, document, track, and resolve data quality issues and defects.
Verify data integrity, data completeness, and data consistency.
Perform regression, integration, system, and performance testing for ETL workflows.
Validate data warehouse and data mart implementations.
Collaborate with ETL developers, business analysts, and data architects.
Participate in test execution cycles and provide status reports.
Ensure compliance with data governance and data quality standards.

Experience in Data Quality Testing.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.
Exposure to API and file validation testing (CSV, XML, JSON).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Big Data Testing (Hadoop, Hive, Spark).
Experience in cloud-based data migration projects.
Knowledge of automation frameworks for ETL testing.
Certifications in ETL, Data Engineering, Azure, AWS, or Snowflake.
