Job Description

As a Testing Engineer at our company, your role will involve designing, executing, and automating test cases to ensure the quality and integrity of data extracted, transformed, and loaded into data warehouses and other repositories. You will collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and analysts to validate data transformations, business rules, and performance throughout the ETL process. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL processes to verify data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Validate data at various stages (source, transformation, and destination) to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Identify and report data discrepancies, errors, and anomalies promptly. - Verify data quality rules, business logic, and mappings used in ETL processes. Data Validation: - Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems to maintain data integrity. - Create SQL queries for data transformation validation and conduct data profiling to identify quality issues. - Verify ETL performance, including data loads and transformations efficiency, to ensure SLAs are met.
