ETL Tester - Senior Engineer

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of Advanced level of expertise in

  databases, SQL

  queries with

  Teradata

  or

  Oracle

  or

  SQL

  Server.
• 5+ years of expertise in

  ETL Testing

• Good knowledge of

  ETL Tools - Ab Initio

• Very good knowledge of

  Datawarehouse, ETL concepts, Unix commands, shell/bash

  script or any other script language like

  Python

• Good understanding of

  Testing fundamentals

• Development and implementation of

  comprehensive test plans

  and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards
• Demonstrated expertise in

  SQL, test data Preparation, Defect identification

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria, ensuring a thorough understanding of the software being tested
• Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodology and software development approach
• Must come financial services/capital markets/investment banking
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Can work independently with minimum supervision
• Good Communication and analytical skills
• Flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple stakeholders
• Open to work in UK Shift (10 AM to 9 PM IST with 8 hours of productive work)

Desirable

• Prior experience in

  Automation skills

  would be nice to have skills
• Prior experience of working with

  AWS

  would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience on Unix platform
• Certification in Banking domain
