Experience: 4–7 Years Industry: Software Training / IT Education / EdTech Location: Ram Nagar, Coimbatore About the Role We are seeking a dynamic Senior Academic Counselor who excels at handling leads, conducting effective counselling calls, and driving admissions for our software training programs. The role focuses heavily on calling leads, convincing students, explaining course benefits , and ensuring smooth enrollment. Key Responsibilities Lead Handling & Conversion Call the leads provided by the company promptly and professionally. Explain course details, curriculum, fees, duration, and career opportunities. Convince prospective students to join the program by understanding their needs and guiding them to the right course. Follow up consistently through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and CRM updates. Convert enquiries into admissions and achieve monthly enrollment targets. Counselling & Guidance Assess the student’s background, career goals, and skill level to provide accurate course recommendations. Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (telephonic or in-person). Assist students with admission procedures and documentation. Student Experience & Coordination Coordinate with trainers, academic team, and admin for student onboarding. Ensure smooth communication regarding batch schedules and training processes. Address student concerns professionally and ensure satisfaction. Required Skills Excellent communication and convincing skills (must-have). Strong telephone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes. Proven experience in lead conversion and admission counselling. Ability to clearly explain training programs (IT, software, tech courses). Strong follow-up skills and target-oriented mindset. Experience using CRM/lead management tools. Qualifications Graduate in any discipline. 4–7 years experience as Academic Counselor / Tele-counsellor / Admissions Counselor. Prior experience in training institutes or EdTech is preferred. Salary Range ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 + Attractive Incentives Interested and Eligible candidates Apply immedaitely.
