The role of an Infoscion in the consulting team involves actively supporting various phases of projects, such as problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment. You will be responsible for exploring alternatives to recommended solutions through research, including literature surveys, public domain information, and vendor evaluations, and developing proof of concepts (POCs). Additionally, you will translate business needs into requirement specifications, define processes, and create detailed functional designs based on requirements. Furthermore, you will assist in configuring solution requirements, diagnosing and resolving issues, seeking clarifications, and identifying solution alternatives. Your contributions will extend to unit level and organizational initiatives, aiming to deliver high-quality, value-adding solutions to customers. In terms of technical requirements, proficiency in domains such as Energy Oil & Gas, including Downstream Process Optimization, Midstream Pipelines, Upstream Drilling and Completion, and Upstream Production Operations, is essential. Familiarity with technology infrastructure, security, virtual private networks, firewalls, and Checkpoint is also necessary. Moreover, the role includes additional responsibilities like collaborating with clients to address business challenges, refining and structuring data for client deliverables, staying updated on the latest technologies and trends, and demonstrating logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration skills. You should be able to evaluate current processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose technological solutions while possessing industry domain knowledge. Preferred skills for this role include expertise in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) within the Utilities and Energy Oil & Gas domains, specifically in Midstream areas related to ETRM products and functional areas. Additionally, familiarity with product management in the ETRM domain is advantageous for this position.,
