Why this role exists: Vahak has built a powerful, feature-rich platform for India's transport ecosystem—but the way we talk to our users matters just as much as what we build. To boost user engagement, we’re looking for a sharp, agile owner who can craft compelling English + Kannada communication , run high-impact experiments , and drive measurable improvements in activation, retention, and revenue . What you’ll own and drive: Messaging Strategy: Own all user-facing content across in-app messages, push notifications, WhatsApp, and email. Copywriting & Localization: Write, translate, and “Kannada-fy” copy yourself—no hand-offs to agencies. Experimentation: Plan weekly A/B tests or trigger-based variants using tools like MoEngage or Firebase . Launch fast, learn fast. UI Optimization: Refine microcopy and user flows on critical screens like onboarding, payments, cross-sell funnels, etc. Cross-Functional Execution: Work closely with backend and Android developers to hook content to events, and partner with the data team to track results. Tone & Voice Consistency: Maintain and evolve a lightweight content style guide to ensure Vahak sounds sharp, friendly, and trucker-smart. What we’re looking for: Must-haves: 2–5 years of experience in product, CRM, or growth roles with direct ownership of user communication. Fluent in Kannada and English —you should be able to think, write, and joke in both languages. Hands-on A/B testing experience with tools like MoEngage, CleverTap, or Firebase . A strong copywriting portfolio —including notifications, banners, or in-app messages that moved key metrics. Comfort working with basic funnel and retention metrics —you know what “good” looks like and how to improve it. Nice-to-haves: Experience working with mobility, logistics, or hyperlocal apps (e.g., Rapido, Porter, Swiggy). Basic skills in SQL or navigating dashboards using Looker, GDS, or similar BI tools .
