Sales Forecasting and Demand Planning: Collaborate with the sales team to develop accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights. Conduct demand planning activities to anticipate customer requirements and optimize supply chain efficiency. Analyze sales data, market demand, and customer feedback to identify demand patterns, seasonality, and potential risks. Coordinate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to align supply with anticipated demand levels. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in planning, inventory management, or supply chain management, preferably in the steel trading industry. Strong knowledge of steel products, market dynamics, pricing trends, and supply chain best practices. Proficiency in demand forecasting techniques, inventory management systems, and planning software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis tools. Knowledge of international trade regulations, logistics, and documentation processes related to steel trading is a plus.
