Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate PRT/TGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language, effective communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment in line with CBSE curriculum standards. The teacher will be responsible for developing students’ linguistic proficiency, reading comprehension, creative writing, and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons as per CBSE syllabus and school guidelines.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of prescribed curriculum within the academic calendar.
• Incorporate experiential learning, storytelling, and creative writing activities to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assessment & Evaluation:
• Design and administer formative and summative assessments in accordance with CBSE evaluation norms.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
• Provide constructive feedback and support for students’ academic and personal growth.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Address individual learning needs through differentiated instruction.
• Co-curricular Involvement:
• Encourage students to participate in debates, elocution, dramatics, and literary activities.
• Contribute to school events, assemblies, and inter-house competitions.
• Professional Responsibilities:
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school improvement initiatives.
• Maintain communication with parents regarding students’ performance and progress.
• Follow school policies, CBSE regulations, and uphold the institution’s vision and ethos.

Qualifications & Eligibility (As per CBSE Norms):For PRT (Primary Teacher – English):

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree with English as a subject.
• B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. from a recognized institution.
• Qualified CTET (Paper I) conducted by CBSE (preferred/mandatory as per CBSE norms).

For TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher – English):

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree in English with minimum 50% marks.
• B.Ed. from a recognized university/institution.
• Qualified CTET (Paper II) conducted by CBSE (preferred/mandatory as per CBSE norms).

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong subject knowledge and innovative teaching methodology.
• Ability to integrate technology (Smart Boards, digital tools) in classroom teaching.
• Empathetic, patient, and student-focused approach.
• Team player with good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• PRT: Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school.
• TGT: Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in middle or secondary school.

(Exceptional fresh candidates with strong subject knowledge may also be considered.)

Remuneration:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per CBSE norms.
