We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English tutor to support learners of various ages and abilities. Duties

• Deliver engaging and personalised English lessons tailored to individual student needs
• Support students in developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate learners with special educational needs
• Prepare lesson plans, educational materials, and assessments to track progress
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and participation
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement
• Maintain organised records of lessons, attendance, and student achievements
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching techniques

Requirements

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English, preferably with children or young learners
• Knowledge of special education strategies is desirable
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage students effectively
• Passionate about supporting diverse learning needs and fostering a love of language
• Organised, reliable, and able to adapt lesson plans as required
• Relevant qualifications in education or linguistics are advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours; previous experience working with children is preferred
