Engineer/Sr Engineer/Lead

As an Engineer / Sr. Engineer / Lead Engineer in the WLAN FIRMWARE HALPHY Group at Qualcomm India Private Limited, your role involves designing, developing, unit testing, bug fixing, and maintaining WLAN firmware and HALPHY components. You will be responsible for implementing functional aspects of WLAN features on low memory footprint processors, which will work in conjunction with device drivers on host processors. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge WiFi technologies, solve challenging WiFi design and performance issues, and collaborate with leading WiFi ODMs & OEMs globally under high-pressure and tight timelines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, unit test, and document Firmware for AP SoC. - Perform driver bring-up and unit test driver features in the new AP. - Optimize the driver for maximum performance. - Analyze and fix bugs during product verification stage and customer-reported issues. - Travel to customer sites for bug fixing. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or PhD in relevant field. - 2+ years of academic or work experience in Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Strong programming skills in C. - Hands-on experience working on real-time embedded systems. - Proficiency in solving complex system issues with good problem-solving skills. - Experience in Firmware development on small memory footprint processors is a significant advantage. - Knowledge and experience in Networking driver development, Ethernet, and Wireless LAN driver development are preferred. - Familiarity with IP Networking technologies and RF level knowledge is a plus. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience in Wireless LAN protocols is highly desirable. - Ability to thrive in an aggressive, high-pressure environment.,
