Engineer/Senior Engineer, Software Development (.Netcore & Angular)

As a software engineer at Landis+Gyr, you will be part of a global team dedicated to providing integrated energy management solutions. You will utilize your proficiency in .Netcore and Angular to enhance our innovative software solutions and intelligent sensor technology. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members. - Utilize your team lead experience for leadership roles within the software development projects. - Apply your expertise in .Net/C#/Web service/WCF to develop high-quality software applications. - Exhibit strong experience in C# development, including familiarity with C# 4.5, VS 2012/13/15, Entity Framework, and object-oriented programming concepts. - Implement and maintain applications on the ASP.Net platform, ensuring adherence to the latest versions of Dot Net and related technologies. - Contribute to Windows development on the Microsoft platform, emphasizing web service/WCF/Web API development. - Apply design patterns and ensure familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server for efficient database management. - Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests to enhance software quality. - Collaborate as a responsible and independent team member for coding and unit testing of .Net-related development projects. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (B.Sc/BCA/B.Tech/B.E/MCA/M.Tech). - 3.5 to 6 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on .Netcore and Angular technologies. Desired Skills: - Knowledge of any Messaging tools such as Kafka or Rabbit MQ. - Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues and stakeholders.
