Engineer/Senior Engineer/ Lead Engineer - BT Firmware Team - Hyderabad

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. Your work will contribute to launching cutting-edge, world-class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Collaboration with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams will be essential to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop software on various platforms for Qualcomm internal chipsets - Collaborate with other teams to determine and document requirements and drive design - Resolve issues reported by internal test teams and customers - Actively participate in the development of new firmware for Bluetooth latest specification and futuristic products for Mobiles, Wearables, IoE, and Automotive markets - Support existing firmware through feature additions, enhancements, and maintenance - Work closely with systems team and cross-functional teams to deliver quality software following well-established development processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 1-8 years of experience with Programming Language such as C/C++ - Strong experience and proficiency in C programming for embedded platforms - Good understanding of any networking protocol stacks is highly desired - Familiarity with mobile development is an additional plus - Understanding of Bluetooth protocol stack is an additional plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment - Strong experience working in real-time operating systems for 1+ years Additional Details: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
