Engineering Supervisor

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for supervising and assigning tasks to the engineering team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion of maintenance jobs. Routine inspections of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, back of house, kitchens, and mechanical rooms, will be conducted to maintain all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. It is crucial to ensure that preventive maintenance schedules are followed for all machinery, equipment, and hotel infrastructure. Handling guest and staff maintenance requests promptly and efficiently is also a key responsibility. Monitoring energy usage and implementing energy-saving initiatives, maintaining proper inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts, and coordinating with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services are essential tasks. Upholding safety standards and ensuring that all engineering team members comply with hotel safety policies is a top priority. Additionally, assisting the Chief Engineer in planning and executing renovation or repair projects, preparing daily maintenance reports, updating records in the maintenance management system, providing training and mentoring to junior technicians and new hires, and responding promptly to emergencies such as power failures, plumbing issues, or equipment breakdowns are critical aspects of the role.
