Engineering Services Sales – Automotive Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Engineering Services Sales professional with mandatory recent experience in the Automotive industry and a strong background in selling Software and Electronics Engineering Services to Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and Global Capability Centers (GCCs) across South India. The ideal candidate must have recent, hands-on Automotive industry sales experience, strong Automotive Electronics domain knowledge, proven new business development capabilities, and established customer relationships across Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Key Responsibilities - Drive sales and business development for Software and Electronics Engineering Services within the Automotive industry. - Identify, engage, and develop new prospective customers across Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and GCCs. - Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. - Proactively identify new business opportunities through active hunting, field sales, and customer engagement. - Understand customer requirements and technical challenges to develop relevant Engineering Services opportunities. - Promote engineering capabilities and solutions aligned with Automotive Software and Electronics requirements. - Develop and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation and prospecting through opportunity development and closure. - Establish long-term strategic relationships with Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and GCCs. - Collaborate with internal engineering and delivery teams to align customer requirements with service offerings. - Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. Required Skills - 4+ years of relevant experience in Engineering Services Sales, with recent Automotive industry experience mandatory. - Candidates must have recent, hands-on experience selling engineering services within the Automotive domain. - Proven experience selling Software and Electronics Engineering Services. - Strong understanding of Automotive Electronics and related engineering services. - Experience working with Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and GCCs. - Established customer relationships across Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. - Strong hunting capabilities with a proven track record of identifying and acquiring new customers. - Ability to understand customer requirements and develop Engineering Services opportunities. - Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Strong knowledge of the South Indian Automotive market and its key customer landscape. Preferred Location - Bangalore (BLR) – Preferred. - Chennai – Also considered for strong candidates. - Candidates with established customer relationships across Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad will be preferred. Good to Have - Existing relationships with key decision-makers at Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers across South India. - Experience selling embedded software, automotive electronics, or related engineering services. - Proven track record of new customer acquisition and revenue growth. - Experience developing strategic accounts and expanding engineering services business.
